Size Guide

Our robes and kimonos are designed to drape, not cling. All measurements are of the garment in centimetres. Kimono measurements and robe bust are measured all the way around the body. Robe waist and hip are measured flat across the garment.

  • If you're between sizes, size up.
  • For the kimonos, size up if you have a larger bust.
  • The wrap belt lets you adjust the fit at the waist.

A fluid, full length, fully lined kimono with exaggerated sleeves, effortless drapery, softened neckline and wrap belt. Designed for ease of styling and layering for your daily rituals. Earthy chocolate tones contrast softened mint and pale blue moving through dark and lighter forms, a deliberate tension, mirroring the contrast we carry within ourselves and the power that comes from letting it exist.

To hold contrast is not a contradiction, it is wholeness. Sitting in contemplation, not demanding to be seen, waiting to be discovered.

  1. Light your incense. Before dressing, pause. Take three slow breaths. Place one hand on your heart and one on your lower body.
  2. Repeat our mantra: IN MY DARKNESS I AM LIGHT.
  3. Close your eyes and ask: WHAT PART OF ME NEEDS TO BE SEEN TODAY?
  4. Dress. Carry your full self proudly into the day, your shadow too, and let the way you dress set the tone for how the day unfolds.

Fabric Our signature silk viscose blend. 25% silk and 75% viscose.

Silk Silk has been reserved for ceremony and royalty for over five thousand years. Coveted for its lustre and its feel on the skin it is a natural choice for our garments.

Drape Lightweight with a liquid drape and a soft natural sheen that moves with you.

Heritage The robe is one of humanity's oldest ceremonial forms. We pair its silhouette with silk so the garment carries its history with it.

Lining Fully lined in soft rayon so the kimono falls cleanly and feels smooth against the skin.

Care Cool hand wash separately. Use a gentle, environmentally friendly detergent. Dry in shade. Do not bleach, soak or tumble dry. Cool iron. Dry cleanable.

Australia
Free standard shipping on every order.

International
Free standard shipping to New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the European Union. Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are paid on delivery and aren't included in your order total.

We don't offer express shipping at this time. Delivery times are as per Australia Post. Once your order is on its way we'll email you a tracking number.

Pre-sale orders

Pieces from our pre-sale are expected to ship late December. Payment is taken when you place your order. We'll email you as soon as your order ships. If the date changes we'll let you know straight away.

Returns

Change of mind

If your piece isn't right for you, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for an exchange. For pre-sale orders the 14 days start from the date your order is delivered. We don't offer refunds for change of mind.

Pieces must be unworn and unwashed, in their original condition with all tags attached. Incense can be returned unopened. Return postage for change of mind returns is paid by you.

Faulty items

If your piece arrives faulty or damaged please email us with your order number and a photo. We'll cover the return postage and offer a repair, replacement or refund. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to return

  1. Email hello@sharivariaphrodite.com with your order number, the piece you're returning and the reason. For an exchange let us know the size or piece you'd like instead.
  2. We'll reply with the return address and next steps.
  3. Send your piece back with tracked postage. We can't be responsible for returns lost in transit.
  4. Once your return arrives and has been checked we'll email you to confirm your exchange. Refunds for faulty items go back to your original payment method.

Returns sent without emailing us first may not be accepted.
